On Saturday, 3 July 2021, H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince officially opened the new Larvotto beach allowing the people of Monaco to enjoy a larger beach space, a renovated promenade, and various restaurants and shops in time for the summer season. Led by architect Renzo Piano, the transformative project re-establishes the public beach and surrounding areas into high-quality spaces accessible to all. The renovation of the site is set for an early-2022 completion and completes the new walkable waterfront from Larvotto Beach to Port Hercule, via the promenade Prince Jacques at Mareterra.
